Team HFOT Half Marathon

In January, Ben and Kelsey Kikta are running in the Disney Half Marathon for our sponsor Homes for Our Troops. Through Ben's military service in the United States Marine Corps, we have been humbled by meeting and interacting with many disabled veterans. We are excited to be a part of Homes for Our Troops' Team and to raise money to help them deliver their mission in helping our nation's veterans.
Homes for Our Troops is a privately funded nonprofit organization that builds and donates custom adapted homes for severely injured veterans. These homes allow these men and women to begin rebuilding their lives after sustaining life altering injuries, including multiple limb amputations, partial or full paralysis, and/or severe traumatic brain injuries. Homes for Our Troops strives to give our wounded veterans the freedom and independence in their homes that they sacrificed while defending our country and allows them to focus on their family and recovery.  Nearly 90 cents of every dollar has goes directly to Homes for Our Troops services for our veterans.
