Dearest Friends and Family,
The Gomez family needs your help. On December 16, 2016 Juan Gomez; lover of life, family, and faith got diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia M3. Doctors have told us that this type of leukemia is highly treatable, but fragile because he will have no immune system to fight off secondary illnesses for the next couple weeks. Unfortunately, he still has very low counts of white blood cells and platelets making his need to be hospitalized critical for the next couple weeks.
Our hope is that Juan can focus on beating this cancer and not have to worry about medical bills. We ask that everyone give what little they can to alleviate some of the financial burden for the past and future treatments. We especially appeal to our close friends and family and everyone that Juan Gomez has impacted in some way or another. We ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers for a quick recovery and the strength he needs to fight this horrible disease. Can we all help get Juan Gomez back on his feet, back on the soccer field, back with his family? Let’s help bring his infectious smile back and let’s show him how much we support him in any way possible. Please, let’s all pitch in and help Juan and his family kick cancer!
