Thanks so much to everyone who helped us raise $6,500 between the original Spot Fund and this GoFundMe.

As most of you know, Gerri’s life among us is over, but her lifetime of works will reverberate for many years to come. In the lives of the people that survive with HIV, those who walk queerly fearless and all who hold the memory of her courage, joy and devotion in their hearts.

Your funds have enabled some ambulance fees and funerary expenses to be paid.

But to cover remaining expenses and to keep the funding stream open for other aging ACTUP veterans, we need TeamGerriWells to rally its team spirit, dig deep and allow Gerri’s legacy keep benefitting us all.

Have no doubt, the loss of Gerri is a momentous event. But let her life and death continue to impact the lives and passings of the generations of folks that fought against the things that this fund still fights against— indignity, suffering and indifference.
