Help Fund our Sporting Dream

Hi! We are Freya Halliday, Skyla Ainley and Maddy Bedford. We compete as a 'trio' in Acrobatic Gymnastics.  This is an incredibly intensive sport requiring many hours of training, typically 20 hours per week.  Anyone who has been involved in similar sports will appreciate the sacrifices we and our families make on a weekly basis.....but its definitely worth it!

We have been together as a trio for 18 months working to one common goal,  to be selected to represent Great Britain at the European Acrobatic Championships.

Its been an incredible year for our trio,

- winning a number of national competitions; 
- winning two international competitions;
- being invited to the trial for team GB. 
- WINNING THE BRITISH CHAMPIONSHIPS! 

Shortly after winning the British Championships we learned we had  achieved our dream and had been selected to represent Team GB at the European Championships which are being held in Holon, Israel in October 2019.

We are so proud of what we have achieved together and to be able to represent our country.

The sport of Acro Gymnastics is entirely self funded.  To be part of Team GB comes at a significant financial cost.  The cost of getting to Israel and competing is around £1,800 each which covers flights, hotels, food, entry fees etc etc.  In addition we are required by British Gymnastics to buy the  official Team GB kit, and extra £300.  So we are looking at just over £2,000 each, or £6,000 in total to represent our Country.
