As many of you know, Nicole has been living with ALS for the past six years. She is a true inspiration for all of us – always smiling, always positive and simply enjoying the moment. The Garcia family is so incredibly grateful for having such a strong community to support them. They are grateful to have their family, Ashland friends, childhood friends, Staples and Genzyme families cooking and carpooling for them each week.
Many keep asking how they can contribute beyond cooking and carpooling. To help with Nicole’s safety and comfort in the house, we decided to start a fundraising effort. We had to push Mike to let us do this, but we know our amazing community is just waiting to do what they can to help the Garcia family. Any contribution to this fundraiser will help to purchase items like a stair lift, an adjustable bed and other items they may need to keep Nicole safe and comfortable.
