Team Fatima

I am raising money to help my friend, Fatima, fight and beat cancer. Fatima is a 58 year old single mother of two amazing kids. She has worked as a fundraiser helping kids with cancer and has always given back to those in need.

Fatima was initially diagnosed at age 48 with breast cancer and underwent a mastectomy. She was thankfully in remission until she started feeling unwell again. At that point, Fatima was told the cancer had come back and spread. Now, she is fighting cancer in her brain.

Fatima is seeking treatment that is not traditionally covered by insurance. She sees this as her last chance, a miracle that may save her life. The eight week treatment costs an estimated $60,000 and I am hoping to help offset those expenses. Without financial assistance, she will not receive the treatment.

In Fatima's words, "I want to give thanks to all those people who have not abandoned me: my friends, my children, my whole family. Thank you to all the people who, without knowing me, have offered to help in some way. I infinitely love everyone. I want to fight and keep moving forward. I want to live, I have so many things I still want to do. Many thanks."
