Our goal is to raise funds for Byron so he can better manage the every increasing medical expenses caused by an extremely rare Soft Tissue High Grade Sarcoma Cancer that has no cure.
Only 13% of those who fight the battle of cancer experience this very rare form of the disease. Unfortunately, our friend is in Stage 4.
Byron and Debbie's FAITH has helped them conquer many challenges over the past 2 years associated with this seemingly never ending battle that has no cure, but so many unforeseen expenses create additional heartaches and disappointments they rarely share with friends and family.
Recently Debbie chose an early retirement after 42 years with the Dublin Police Department with reduced income to provide care at home and Byron had to give up his part time job of driving a school bus for all his "other children ". Although this loss of income and mounting expenses has taken a toll, no one would never know because their ever present smiles and deep abiding faith in their Savior Jesus Christ has camouflaged so much hardship.
Everyone who knows Byron and Debbie can certainly understand when we all say, there is no better neighbor or carring friends than Byron and Debbie. They have supported the needs of others in trying times by reaching out in every possible way to comfort on many levels.
On a final note there are no finer parents or grandparents than Papa and Grandma. Several years ago they adopted their two little granddaughters who continue to excel in school as well as recently turned teenagers. If you ever want to better understand the definition of adoration, you simply need to watch the eyes of all 6 grandchildren whenever they visit.
Neither Byron or Debbie were aware of TEAM BYRON as they would never ask anyone to help shoulder their burdens especially if it created one for them.
Although their expenses far exceed our goal of $25,000, we ask that you consider attributing any amount you can. No amount is too small. God Bless.
