Teachers are starving! Can you help?

Hi, My name is Ruby. I am worried about the teachers at Eagles View Humanist School in Buwenge-Kayiira, Jinja, Uganda. The school has no students right now because of the Covid lockdown. The picture was taken in better times when there was some food available. Right now there is no money to pay the teachers so that they can to buy food to stay alive, much less stay healthy. Uganda has no CERB and virtually no vaccines. We have been so lucky in Canada.

I got interested in this school because it is unique in Africa as a secular, humanist school. I have become acquainted with the director, Muwanguzi Rogers DA Grt, through social media and learned about the plight of the teachers from him. These teachers are in a similar situation as much of the Ugandan population but I have come to care about their plight through the school director.
