Cancer Treatment

Hi. My name is Patrice and I'm a disabled Air Force veteran living with metastatic breast cancer.  In additon to my battle with breast cancer, I have also been dealing with the loss of my only son to suicide.  My son took his life a little over a year ago and it totally devasted me.   My children are my sunshine so his death put me in a very dark place.  There were honestly days where I didn't want to go on anymore.  Thankfully, with the support of my family and friends, I'm in a much better place now and I want to live!


My situation is extremely urgent as the cancer has begun spreading to my lungs and lymph nodes.  I have difficulty breathing and have developed a cough.  My right arm and hand are swollen because my lymph nodes are no longer funtioning.  I want to be treated at the Uchee Pines Wellness Center ucheepines.org ‌located in Seale, AL. Uchee Pines Lifestyle Center offers a 17-day residential experience in health education and lifestyle change. Their goal is to educate and empower individuals to live lifestyles for optimal physical, mental, and spiritual health. I believe their cancer treatment is what will save my life.  The money I'm requesting will pay for the program which includes various therapy, medicinal herbs and nutrition. 

My husband, Joe, who is also a Vietnam veteran, works at the V.A. Medical Center in Hampton , VA.  Although my husband works very hard, we are ‌not able to afford the cancer treatment that would save my life.   Any help would be greatly appreciated.  There is no gift too small.
