Jonathan Smith came to Bartlett a little over a year ago. In his hiring interview he told me that his brother was battling a health issue and was on dialysis. Jon indicated that when he was able that he wanted to donate his kidney to his brother to drastically help his quality of life. On Sep. 28th Jon is going to be going to UVA to follow through with the donation. He is an outstanding individual. Self sacrificing. A caring and loving father of two great kids and a wonderful employee. As we support Jon in his decision I feel that as the Bartlett team we should help shoulder some of his financial burden that he will endure in the coming month while he heals. It is very likely that Jon will be out of work for at least a month with out pay. He is a single father of two and although he is responsible with his income, with out our help he may be put in a bind. I urge you to donate towards this cause. He is doing such a selfless act to make such a huge difference in his brother's life. Let's help him out!
