Taza Employee Relief Fund

As everyone is fully aware, due to the spread and necessary containment of COVID-19 in the Chicago area, all bars and restaurants have been forced to unexpectedly close their doors or only do Carry-out and Delivery end of the day Monday, March 16th.  As of right now, this temporary ban on bars and restaurants will last until March 30th, which may last longer.

While other restaurants have chose to stay open, we feel that it is crucial to close Taza's doors to ensure the well-being of our employees and our neighborhood around us.

Unfortunately, many of our employees have not had enough to aid them through this crucial time. We want to help them with as much resources as we possible can find. And this will help them with rent, food, and medical expenses for them and their families.

We therefore look to our Great Chicagoland Community and generations of regulars to provide any aid possible to allow us to help our employees make it through the next few weeks.  This is an amazing staff and a great neighborhood restaurant that has served our community for over 10 years. We understand that this is a tough situation that has hit us all, but any little can help our employees get back on their feet. We appreciate all you can do and will do for this great community.
