Taylor’s Gender Affirming Surgery

It’s not easy for me to ask for help, but I’m told that that’s what community and chosen family is there for. So, time for vulnerability. 

On December 31st I will be having bottom surgery in San Francisco. This is something that I’ve thought about for quite a while and I am excited to take this next step in aligning my body with my gender.

Unfortunately, even with insurance, I still have about $3,000 in bills to cover on my own. These bills include my flight to and from San Francisco, 5 nights of accommodations in San Francisco while I recover, post-op medical supplies, and actual surgical fees. 

I have been saving up on my own and plan on doing some gig work over the next six weeks to cover as much of the cost as I can but every little bit helps. 

Initially I wasn’t planning on publicly sharing about my bottom surgery - I mean talking about my genitals publicly isn’t super comfortable - but I really do need help or I won’t be able to make this happen. With that said, I am choosing to only share this with trusted friends and chosen family so please ask before you share this within your own circles if you would like to do so.
