Taylor Lewis, father of three, beloved friend and partner, and the heart and soul behind the Teaching Nursery at the UC Davis Arboretum & Public Garden, has been diagnosed with an extremely rare cancer – angiosarcoma. Taylor's unwavering commitment to friends and family, coupled with his boundless positive energy and dedication to the Arboretum and the environment, has deeply impacted our community. His ever-present good nature, invaluable guidance to both budding and seasoned gardeners, and his innate ability to help them design and cultivate the gardens of their dreams, have touched countless lives over the years. Taylor has been presented with a lifeline: an opportunity to consult with Dr. Vinod Ravi, the leading expert in treating angiosarcoma in the US, at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Texas, the #1 medical center in the nation for cancer care. This ray of hope means traveling far from home, incurring numerous expenses ranging from travel, accommodation, car rentals, and mounting medical costs
