Help Taste of Sicily

Taste Of Sicily is a small Italian Cafe located in Palmyra, Pa that is UNDER FIRE do to the Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf and Secretary Of Health Rachael Levine! Taste Of Sicily is owned and operated by Mother and Daughter, Silvana Drill and Christine Wartluft and is managed by Silvana’s oldest son, Michael Mangano. They obeyed Governor Tom Wolfs order to not allow indoor dining for two months, but after Governor Wolf continued to keep Lebanon County in the Red, Christine made the decision to go against the Governors orders, and allow for her cafe to offer indoor dining! Since the family made the decision to allow indoor dining, Governor Tom Wolf and Rachael Levine have been persistent in trying to close their business by having the Board Of Agriculture, hand deliver a letter to Taste Of Sicily, that has suspended their operating license. Christine and Silvana and Michael refuse to back down to this political move lead by Governor Wolf and Levine! Their doors will not close to indoor diners and they intend to fight the good fight until justice is served! Due to us having limited dining since Covid19, they have experienced major financial stress, and they acknowledge the stress has wildly affected small business owners all around our country. Donations will be used to pay for any and all legal fees as well as the bills that the business has incurred during the shutdown and to help the family with bills that were not able to be paid, due to the shutdown. Christine along with Silvana have both filed for PUA and Christine received only one payment of $715.00 total and Silvana never received anything from PUA. Christine and Silvana were both approved to receive PUA but the state never followed through and paid them other than $715.00 total. The family also applied for the PPP and the EIDL and never received a dime, which is why Christine said there was no other option, than to offer indoor dining to save Taste Of Sicily. The first fine is $1000 and for everyday we are open they will fine us for $10,000. We are standing up and not closing. The family cannot stress enough, that we appreciate all donations, but if you are in a financially stressed position, please provide for your family before donating to ours. We love you all and WILL NOT STOP FIGHTING THE GOOD FIGHT!
