Tashia’s “Help While Healing” Fund

Hi Everyone...I’m Shauntay, sister to Tashia Haleem; an amazing, smart, driven General Superintendent.
On Monday May 21st, without warning or pre-existing condition, my 40-year-young sister suffered a SEVERE stroke that required surgery to address brain swelling. Additionally, the stroke resulted in limited speech, movement and ability to mentally process things. As you can imagine, my family was shocked and devastated.
My sister has always been responsible, which is why she put measures in place should the unexpected occur. However, she never anticipated not having the time or ability to articulate those measures to her family.
With that said, I have initiated a GoFundMe on behalf of my sister and our retired parents, who have the challenge of trying to keep two households afloat.
Many of her/our family and friends have been asking how to help. Please know that you can HELP BY DONATING to this fund to offset some of the expenses incurred while maintaining Tashia’s bills/ household until she is able to process what has happened to her and determine next steps.
Please know that we are believing God for her full recovery! Your gift will help us make sure she’s able to get back to the life she had before this challenge.
