Help Tara get back on her feet

Sometimes in our lives, crap things happen to lovely people. If you know Tara, you'll know that she is an incredibly talented entrepreneur who is knowledgeable, ambitious, driven but above all, she is loving, kind and generous. For the last three years she's worked so hard on getting her business going and now a core part of it has been taken from her.

On March 8th, Tara returned to her home in Cavan to the whole house ransacked. Everything that was valuable was taken, including her laptop that contained most of her business that she's been working on for years. Everything that was sentimental and precious was trashed or taken. Including precious memories of her Mam and Dad.

She wasn't insured.

Here's what Tara said on her Facebook page -
"I am heartbroken. Yesterday at around 10.30am my home was broken into. They smashed through a back window and ransacked every room, methodically stripping the house of anything they thought might be worth something - tv, laptop, cameras, childhood toys, all my/Moms jewellery. And a heap of other things.

But these weren't just quick buck things. They weren't worth much money. But they were my heart and soul. They are a lifetime of happy memories- family photos on the laptop, my livelihood and only source of income (I work for myself so 3 years of work stuff is on my laptop). Rings my parents gave me for my Leaving Cart, and my 21st and other milestones. Things that really aren't  worth anything to them, but everything to me, because I have already lost my parents and so all I have are memories and mementoes.

And they stripped me of my sense of comfort and safety in my own home. A wardrobe full of Dads clothes that I couldn't yet bear to part with or even touch, they ran their dirty evil hands over and through and pulled everything apart as if it were nothing. And now I want to burn it all.

But I won't. I'll clean up with the help of friends and neighbours, and move forward, rolling with the punches as we all have to do. Secure in the knowledge that one day, karma will hit them so hard they'll understand some of the heartbreak I feel today. Or maybe they won't given that they would need HEARTS for that. Either way, they lose.

I don't like making my life public like this but I am posting this to appeal for any information anyone might have to come forward. If you took the stuff please give me back my memories. Or if any of you find anything thrown in ditches please let me know.

And finally, thank you to all of you who have messaged me or called to the house so far. It is the best example of all that is good and kind in the face of all that is bad."

Today, I'm asking you to help out this amazing girl, who's having a pretty crap run of luck. Even a small donation will make a difference and will help her get back on her feet.
