I am setting up this campaign for my mom Tammy Oblinger. For those of you who don’t know, Tammy was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer. This is all very new to Tammy and her family.
While the prognosis for full recovery is positive. Tammy is currently uninsured. Her family and Doctors are trying to get her insurance. However, the medical care she is undergoing is still very expensive and her family is struggling to find ways to cover these bills.
Tammy will be going in for surgery Friday to do a full hysterectomy. This is hopes that it removes all the cancer and nothing more is needed. We will not know if more is needed until all the test come back after the surgery. Tammy will be off of work for 6 weeks to recover from surgery.
Unfortunately, life does not stop. She will continue to have monthly bills and basic living expenses that have to be met.
As you can imagine, it is a humbling experience to ask for help. However, no one should have to sacrifice his or her health, or worry about getting by financially in a time like this. I know that there are many of you that feel the same way. So if you can, please show Tammy and her family the support they need and deserve.
Any funds that they receive will help remove the financial burden and allow her to focus on what is truly important. I know that she will be forever grateful for any generosity sent her way! Thank you for taking the time to read Tammy's story.
