Tamekka King's Fundraiser

The Haile Village Center's long-term community member William "Willie" King's daughter, Tamekka King, was recently in a serious car accident and is on the road to recovery. Several members of the Haile Village Center community thought it would be a kind show of support for Willie to organize this fundraiser to help Tamekka.

Tamekka's car accident was on July 10th when she was on her way back to Archer to take care of her Grandmother. She was hit head on by a motorist that came into her lane after trying to pass a car. The first responders had to cut her from the car and she was then airlifted to Shands Trauma. She's recovering strong but has a long road to recovery ahead.
