Tambour Bistro and Music Venue

For many of us, music's one of the essential joys of life.

For all of us, food and drink are literally life itself.

We created the unique Tambour venue experience to be a safe haven in Brooklyn where friends and family could come together to share an amazing meal, fine wine and signature cocktails, and world class live music.

When Covid 19 struck, it seemed it might be impossible to keep bringing these essentials to our fellow New Yorkers.

 In the early days, we focused on using Tambour's resources to help with feeding and supporting our heroic first responders; Emergency Room workers, Doctors and Nurses, Firemen, Policemen and EMT's.
We did this for good and right reasons. We're New Yorkers.

Then as the city rolled out it's Covid protocols for a gradual reopening, we went to work overcoming the challenges of this new reality. Our innovation allowed us to meet all of NYC's most stringent Covid Enforcement regulations while safely bringing fine dining and live bands back to New Yorkers who had been craving it since the lockdown.

Tambour is a favorite place forJazz and Blues. Top musicians play here between tours and recording.
Performers and special guest dropping by when in town are saxophonist Bob Franceschini,  bassist Victor Wooten and Anthony Wellington,  guitarist Randy Bernsen, bassist Felix Pastorius, keyboardist Sean Wayland,  Apollo MD bassist Reggie Young, violinist Mario Forte, bassist Joey Lauricella, session and blues guitarist Alan Schwartz and Dave Fields, Blues guitarist  singer Wayne Livingston.

Look we know places are closing down every week. 
Now, however, the next round of even tighter restrictions could well be the last straw for our venue and many other establishments in Brooklyn and NYC.  
We need YOUR help to keep our unique venue open during these unprecedented times, so we can still be here to continue our essential mission when this pandemic is finally over.

In addition to implementing the latest necessary Cover 19 modifications to the space, we're starting up a Tambour Jazz, Rhythm and Blues live-music streaming program. This will allow us to share the incredible talent from Tambour's stage with music lovers like you all over the nation and the world, despite Covid, and preserve our American Jazz And Blues Heritage preserved for future generations.


We've dedicated our lives to Jazz and Blues and would love your support to help Tambour remain what is to so many  New Yorkers -  a unique performance space which is an important part of preserving Americas Jazz and Blues Legacy.
