Taking the stairs for charity

I'll be taking the stairs to the 14th floor of my apartment instead of the elevator for Sana's Quarterly Theme.

The Q4 quarterly theme for Sana is all about giving back! As the end of the year approaches, many people around the world are (still) struggling with the pandemic and its consequences. We see a huge opportunity to reconnect and fundraise as much money as possible before the end of December! 

 

 

Our charities 

This quarter, we'll be donating money to 2 charities in regions where we have an office.  

 

In Colombia, our charity is Fundacion impacto de amor. This charity raises money for vulnerable children between 8 and 14 where learning resources are scarce. They provide food, school supplies, learning space, tutoring and recreational activities.

 

In Sri Lanka, our charity is Dammala Primary School. Our goal here is to support the school and enable them to fill a classroom with 10-12 desktop computers and a big TV screen, establish internet connection, and give online classes on a weekly basis. By doing this, we want the school to be able to attract more rural students, improve ICT skills, improve language skills, and enable the students to move on to secondary grade with a more complete skillset.
