Please accept this message as a request for your charitable contribution to support the 12U Bowie Bulldogs Baseball team. This upcoming 2020 spring season for the eleven and twelve year olds are one of the most exciting times in youth baseball. Our team will enter into 5 competitive tournaments in 2020. We carefully choose tournaments which will challenge our team. This only makes them better and we want to see how they do against the best talent around.
Our boys have done their part, and are now looking for donations to help off-site the enormous cost of playing tournament ball.
WHAT WE NEED:
As you can imagine, there are many expenses involved for the families of players on the team. The estimated total cost for our 5 tournaments is $10,000. We are asking for half of this total. We will raise the remainder through other fundraisers we are holding locally in Bowie area.
Your donations will go toward the cost of the following items:
- Tournament Fee [4-5 tournaments]
- Uniforms [home and away uniform, caps, sweatshirts, bags]
- Equipment [baseballs, helmets, catching gear, pitching machine, nets]
- Training Facility [rain days rent, camps, private & group training]
MAKE THE DIFFERENCE:
These young men have worked very hard to get where they are, and will work even harder to prepare for their next level of competition. All they need now is for our community to get behind them financially, and give these boys a chance to show what they can do. Your generous support of our team will open many new opportunities for these young me, as well as help further develop their baseball skills. Any and all donations are greatly appreciated with 100% tax deductible.
RISKS & CHALLENGES:
If we don't raise enough funds there is a possibility that the boys won't play in these tournaments. We will do our best in getting close to our fundraising goal and calculate the out of pocket expenses each family will need to provide.
