Take MISCmedia MAIL to the next proverbial 'level'

For nearly four years, MISCmedia MAIL has supplied a "fiercely local" digest of news headlines to a small but loyal readership each weekday morning.
Now, it's time to make this little e-missive into a self-sustaining venture.
Phase one of this drive: attaining more powerful computer gear on which to make the letter.
I'm currently researching, writing, and assembling the report on an old Mac mini, whose mere 4 gigs of RAM can't be upgraded.
With your help, we'll get a late-model Mac with 8 to 16 gigs of RAM, so I can have multiple apps and browser tabs up at the same time without the dreaded freeze-up and "Application not responding" message.
Any funds raised above that level will be used:
• for subscriptions to paywalled news sources, allowing me to increase the breadth of information in the letter; and
• for our first serious marketing efforts, to increase the newsletter's subscriber base.
As local news media continue to struggle, MISCmedia MAIL provides a valuable daily look, in breadth, of what's happening around here—with links to the sources, and with a friendly, "we're all in this thing together" attitude.
