The Opportunity:
Have you ever been frustrated that there's nothing on TV worth watching. What if you personally could play a role in developing TV that is Real, Exciting, and features honest hard-working people just like you?
That's the focus and goal of this initiative. With your contribution and involvement, together we will create an 8-Episode Series that will broadcast on The Discovery Network this year. In order to make this happen, we have to meet our financial goal by March 19th... which is not a lot of time!
Here's the Background:
In 2017, producers from the Discovery Network filmed our amateur grass-roots endurance race team as we competed at the famous Laguna Seca Raceway. This is low-buck racing with people that don't have fancy sponsors or bottomless bank accounts. The film captured was developed into a 2-Part series that broadcast on the Discovery Network in January this year. The ratings for the show were outstanding! Now the Producers have come back to our Team with the goal of creating a new 8-Episode Series.
The Story Line:
This new series will follow the journey of an every-day, hard-charging amateur race team as they chase their racing dreams while competing at historic and bucket list race tracks across the country. As Steve McQueen famously said, "Racing is Life... what happens before and after is just waiting". Well, there is no waiting for Bare Bones Racing. Follow along as the team turns wrenches on their car, jumps on the road to head to new tracks, and competes in endurance races that last anywhere from 8 to 24 hours and push the limits of both drivers and machine.
The Tracks:
Daytona International Speedway, Thunder Hill Raceway, Virginia International Raceway, Road America, Oregon Raceway Park, and Laguna Seca.
The Challenge:
TV Shows have Production Budgets and need sponsorship dollars to cover the costs. The Producers are working together with our Team to allow and encourage individuals to lend their sponsorship support and in effect take control of developing TV programming that they would want to see. We would like you to become an Executive Producer and help us raise funds to cover a percentage (10%) of the overall TV Production Budget. Because the time line for starting production is so close, with the 1st race at Daytona International Speedway happening next month, we need to meet the financial goal of this campaign by March 19th.
