Hi, my name is Mike, and I am trying to raise money to take Alice home to California so that she can be by her mom, dad, and family; that will be her final resting place. I know she would like that because she came to Kansas with me so I could go to school, but life happened, and we never returned.

Living in Kansas, we had the opportunity to travel more, and she loved to take pictures, talk to people, making new friends. She was always on the phone talking to or texting someone (we called her the text Queen). I would call her during my breaks and lunch to hear her voice. I know she is in a better place now, but I will miss my love, my best friend, and the mother of our son. We were married for 34 years, but it never felt that way. We were always laughing, and we never went to bed mad; I miss her very much. I hope to get her home before Thanksgiving.
