In this ongoing pandemic, there are almost 60% of coronavirus related deaths in nursing homes or care home facilities. Sadly, they didn’t have enough reliable medical resources as they were not thought of as the frontline danger at the beginning of the crisis.
Taiwanese Communities in Ireland have noticed these vulnerable groups and we would like to help. Hence Taiwan Ireland Association launched a “Taiwan Can Help fight Covid-19” fundraising campaign since March 21st aiming to source reliable PPEs for Irish nursing homes.
By far, €7138 is donated by 94 donors. As TIA promised, every single donation will be well utilized on resourcing reliable PPEs for our vulnerable groups. The first batch of 500 EU standard surgical masks already donated to the elderly living alone across Dublin and the second batch of PPE kits has been supplied to Caslsa Home Care in Galway.
In order to continue supplying reliable PPEs for Irish Nursing Homes ensuring our vulnerable groups received great protections, we’d love to invite you to be a part of our mission and make a donation today; however big or small, is so valuable.

這些弱勢族群，愛爾蘭台灣社群都看到了。因此我們想要盡一己之力來幫助這些團體。在三月底，我們推出了
Taiwan can help! 的募資活動，以募款的方式來購買可靠的醫療物資捐贈給這些長照系統。
到目前為止，總共有94位募款款人並募得7138歐元。如同愛台協會所承諾的，所有捐款將百分之百購買醫療物資。第一批500個符合歐盟規定的口罩以分發給都柏林及其鄰近區域的獨居長者 。第二批所捐贈的物資也都贈與給在高威的卡斯特護理之家。
我們想要誠摯的要請各位一起加入這項有意義的活動，不論金額我們都非常感謝。希望讓這份愛可以綿延下去。
