Tabitha's Floret Workshop Fund

My name is Tabitha and I am raising money to pay to participate in the Floret Flower Online Workshop and start my own cut flower business. It is important for me to participate because I want to make people happy by offering bouquets of beautiful flowers.
This last spring, we bought a bouquet of cheerful, yellow tulips and shared a few flowers with each of our neighbors while everyone was stuck at home due to the pandemic. I noticed that everyone was happy to have something beautiful. I want to sell flowers in my neighborhood and community to make more people happy.
I also like working outside with my friends and they would probably like to help me as well. Gardening involves science and I like to try new things, so I think this would be a new way to make people happier and learn at the same time. I have already watched a mini series of videos to start learning and am now watching the fall mini series to learn more about some flowers I want to grow.
By joining the Floret Flower Online Workshop, I will learn how to grow a small, urban flower garden, how and when to harvest cut flowers for bouquets, and tips on how to sell the bouquets. I applied for a scholarship through Floret, but they selected another person for the full scholarship. I was excited to receive a partial scholarship of $300 towards my tuition! Registration opens on October 5th, and I would really appreciate help covering the cost to participate.
The full workshop tuition is $1,997, but my $300 scholarship makes it $1,697.
I want to buy 10 types of flower and foliage seeds at $3.95 per seed packet. I want to buy two seed packets fore each type in case some flowers die. This is $79 and an estimated $20 for shipping and tax. This brings my total estimated need to $1,796.
