Tabby's vet bills

Donation protected
In September 2020, Tabby got her leg caught in something and broke it. We've had a plate put in to help the bones heal together, but the healing never took. The vet is now saying she needs to have the plate removed, and a smaller plate put in. There's also been an issue with wounds related to the original surgery leaving some exposed bone in one of her toes, and some muscle complaints. As such, there are about $5000 worth in procedures we'll have to do after the new year.

While I have been saving for such an eventuality, one of the drain pipes in my house collapsed, resulting in a $5000 plumbing bill. This drained my savings. In addition, my workplace closed for a week at Thanksgiving, at closes a week and a half for Christmas/New Year's, but offers no Holiday pay. They stated that I could file for unemployment, but the State of Texas seems to think that since I'm getting paid for a part of a two week period, I shouldn't get any unemployment. As such, the majority of my paycheck is going to cost of living expenses, leaving little for savings until the middle of January.

Tabby is a very loving cat, and loves to be held and to play. I suffer from anxiety and depression and she, along with my other cats, assists in keeping me functional. I love her very much and would do anything for her.

I know the holidays are a difficult time to be able to offer money, and I appreciate any help you can give. Even if you can't donate, please consider sharing my story with others, in case they can help. If this goes viral, maybe enough people will have enough money to spare so that I can get Tabby the help she needs.
