Anthony’s Healing Fund

Hey folks! I’m Anthony Wolfe, a man of transgender experience. I work in advocacy for a nonprofit organization that serves survivors of intimate partner violence. I have an affinity for youth so I work in teen dating violence prevention with the hopes that we can prevent violence before it occurs through education on healthy relationships and their dynamics. I’ve been working at this organization for about and year and a half. While I’m the only transgender person in the organization, the staff, and the clients we serve have been nothing but supportive of my gender journey and I feel very fortunate. 

I’m scheduled to have surgery to remove the extra tissue in my chest in just a few weeks. I’ve raised the money I need to remain on schedule and I’m very excited about it! I’d need a few weeks to fully recover so I’ll obviously be out of work during that time. I have a few hours of paid time off but I need your help bridging the gap between surgery and full recovery.

I’m paying for everything straight out of pocket so I’ve been using most of my pay to fund this because I don’t have health insurance.
