This is Maurice's final week here in Margate, before he heads off to the Carnival in the sky.

Due to the very generous personal donations paid directly to the funeral director and the wonderful gift of a headstone, we are able to reduce the initial target, we are nearly there, but not quite.Please, if you can donate, even the price of a cuppa and sausage roll, you probably treated him to, it would be appreciated.

There are many people in Margate you would think would want and are able to donate, but sadly haven't., which has surprised me, but we sre so greatful for all those who have donated.

Maurice was known by so many and always had time to chat to everyone.
