Help get Damon home

This is Damon, one of the biggest characters I’ve ever met. Always a barrel of laughs and as mad as a hatter and also the first one to check in on anyone when he thought they needed it. He was kind, funny and selfless. Damon struggled a lot with his own mind and recently lost his battle with mental health and took his own life. He had such a big heart and was loved by everyone that knew him. We couldn’t be further away from the UK right now and we need to raise money to fly him back home from Sydney to his family in Doncaster. The money will go to Katrina Hakin, Damon’s mum, and will pay for the repatriation of Damon and pay towards his funeral. His family want any extra money raised to go to Help for Heroes, an amazing charity who provide lifelong support to service personnel with physical and mental health problems. I am asking everyone I know, no matter how big or small, if you are able to donate it would mean the absolute world to Damons loved ones. And if you could all share this post as far and wide as you can. Damon gave all his time and effort into making sure others were always safe and looked after, it would mean so much to everyone that knew him if we could all come together and make sure he gets looked after now and get him back home to his loved ones where he belongs.
