Christmas for Chrissy

Christmas for Chrissy is a service project to raise books, toys, games, clothing, food, arts n crafts, etc. for those who have extended stays at the Children's Hospital in Minneapolis and St. Paul. It can be incredibly stressful and difficult, so these donations will help make their experience less stressful and more enjoyable!
Christmas for Chrissy came about after meeting a young gentlemen named Mikey whose sister, Chrissy, was shot and killed during the shooting at the Route 91 Concert Festival in Las Vegas. Not only did he lose his sister, but his girlfriend was shot in the face. After meeting Mikey and hearing his horrible and tragic story, we were moved to do something in honor of Chrissy and all the other victims involved. To create something positive after such a negative tragedy. To spread love, kindness and the feeling of hope.
The donations from this cause will go towards purchasing items listed on the Children's Hospitals Wish List. Once we reach our goal we will be using the funds to purchase items and will be dropping them off before Christmas! (Items include clothing, toys, books, games, puzzles, arts and crafts, etc.)
Another event we will be raising money for is an Usborne Books Virtual Event. The money and books raised for this event will also be donated to the Children's Hospital!
The Children's Hospital is very honored and excited to be partnering with this service project!
Every penny counts, so even if you can only donate $1 or $5 or even $10, it is appreciated!!

**Who We Are:
We are Rodan+Fields Consultants from Minneapolis, Minnesota. We met Mikey, Chrissy Duarte's brother, in Las Vegas after the tradegy. We immediately formed a relationship and decided to start a campaign to help raise money in honor of Mikey's sister, who lost her life. The funds from this campaign will be directly used to purchase items for Childrens Hospital in Minneapolis, MN for the children staying in the hospital over the holiday season. Items include clothing, toys, books, arts and crafts, games, etc. We are doing this campaign in memory of Chrissy.
