Jackie’s Knee Surgery

Unfortunately I was injured by someone falling on me sideways which lead to my knee giving out on me and completely tearing my ACL & outer meniscus. I do not have insurance to cover the costs of my ACL reconstructive surgery or physical therapy visits for after surgery. For those that know me, I am a bartender and have not been able to work my normal work schedule due to my injury and being a liability while on the job. So it's hard to be able to save for surgery as well as pay for my personal living expenses since my income has been drastically reduced. I was initially told by my doctor since I am paying out of pocket I can pay through a payment plan which I thought was great and could do it on my own. About 10 days ago I was told the pricing for my surgery (January 5th). They said $500 for anesthesia and $2500 for the doctor would have to be paid in full up front before they operated. Well as of today I received another call from the surgery center. I have to pay them as well up front $3100 the day of surgery. Now leaving me at $6100 up front in full for my operation in 4 weeks. Sadly I do not have that due to medical debt I incurred from my ACL/ meniscus injury. And if they have to put a cadaver in that's another $1500-$3000. I'll have to make installment payments over the course of 3 months to pay off the remaining amount due after surgery. I will be out of work but will not know the length of time until the doctor operates and can see the severity of the injury.It could be anywhere from 1-3 months worth possibility of non weight bearing for 4-6 weeks minimum. So I will be missing work with no income because I'm in the service industry. Not to mention 6-9 months of mandatory intensive physical therapy afterwards and other follow up doctor's fees.
