Support for the Davis Family

Our family recently experienced the unexpected loss of our wonderful dad, Troy Davis. Troy was a dedicated public servant who selflessly served our community as a police officer for 21 years. Troy was a family man with a beautiful wife, six kids, and two grandsons. He was solid and steady, a man of few words--but a big heart. As a school resource officer at both of our town’s middle schools, he was known to be fair and kind. He put in the time and effort to connect with students and to have a positive impact in their lives.

We lost Troy while he was mountain biking with his wife and two high-school aged sons. After a sudden collapse, all efforts to revive him were unsuccessful. His passing has left members of his family and community shocked and saddened. He was the rock that many relied on and looked to for strength and protection. He was our hero.

Our sudden and unexpected loss has resulted in many challenges including expenses. As a police officer, our dad’s income was modest so our mom has worked two jobs to help make ends meet. With our dad gone, things are going to be tough, especially on the youngest boys and our mom. Out of our love and concern for them, we ask for your help and support.
