Rick's Nullarbor Ride - COVID-19 Relief for India
India is currently experiencing a major COVID-19 catastrophe.
With this devastating surge of infections, hospitals are running out resources and oxygen supply and other resources, leaving families helpless.
It is reported that there is an estimated 3,000 deaths per day.
There is now over 19.1 million cases of COVID-19 in India.
The total death toll in India is now more than 215,000 people.
Witnessing families and friends affected by this disaster in India first-hand, we want to do something to help.
Rick Warren, Founder of We Make a Difference is completing a 24-day bike ride across the Nullarbor from Perth to Adelaide to fundraise for several different charities, and now for COVID-19 relief in India.
We Make A Difference has an office in Rajkot India where we employ 13 staff. Every member of our staff have either directly or in directly been affected by the massive surge in COVID-19. I am riding my bike across the Nullarbor to help raise funds for our friends in India.
Donations from this GoFundMe will be donated to the PM Cares. PM Cares is aimed to strengthen the fight against COVID-19 in India and further the availability of quality treatment for those suffering from COVID-19. The donations will also go towards research relating to COVID-19.
