Emma's Medical Bills

My name is Kaye Garlington and my daughter Amy Myers and my granddaughter Emma were involved in a serious car accident on October 25, 2017 in Atlanta, Georgia. Luckily my daughter escaped with only a head laceration and right lung contusion. My granddaughter however, is still in the ICU with a lacerated liver, 3 fractured ribs and a fractured C2 vertebrae. She recently underwent neck surgery to stabilize the fracture. We found out the day after that the screw was "mal-positioned" and she will potentially require a second surgery. She has had countless procedures in the ICU, yet she has remained brave and determined. My daughter is a hard working single mom, yet she will be required to take time off work to help in Emma's recovery after she comes home. With medical bills and many misc. expenditures and time off with unpaid leave, the future looks very bleak. This was supposed to be a very special senior year for Emma, but with her determination it still can happen!
