Help us save our cat's life

Hello, my name is Isella, and the orange one in the picture is Hobbs. Hobbs has been around me since he was born 5 years ago, and I have raised him since then as well. I love him dearly with all my heart, he is a dear family member to me and I can't lose him.

 

Recently, he hasn't been looking too good. Nothing really changed with his environment, but he was having issues and looked like he was uncomfortable and in pain. I don't have a lot of money, but scrounged up what I could to take him to the vet, just in case.

 

What they told me broke my heart, he had a problem with his bladder and would need some expensive treatment overnight to get better. I agreed, because I didn't want to lose him. However when they brought me the bill, it was way more than I could afford, and that was just the start! They said it'd likely cost more after they checked him out further. They refused a payment plan or paying later, and I just don't have that kind of money on me! I reached out around to others I knew and managed to scrounge up enough to pay the first bill, but now I don't have anything left and more bills are sure to come, plus buying new food if he has to go on a special diet.

They performed the treatment on him and he is currently recovering. He's doing a lot better now, but we had to borrow money and are now broke. He has to be on a special diet now for the rest of his life and has medication to take for a while. We cannot afford anything further, so your support in these trying times could make a huge difference. The money you give will go straight to paying off the loans for his care and to help pay for his medication and special dietary food to make sure we can keep him healthy and that we don't have to go through this again, as well as future checkups to the vet to see how he's recovering.
