As some of you know, Gloria has been battling two autoimmune diseases ferociously for 6 years (onset in 2003 was not diagnoised until later years). One disease has spread into other parts of her body. We have paid over$18,000.00 in out-of-pocket bills so far and stopped counting a while ago. It becomes saddening. She will be hospitalized on Monday for treatment, and due to out-of-network costs, the first four days come to $1,400.00, pending the insurance company pays their portion. The estimated bills are unknown but we are looking at about $5,000.00 minimum for any needs such as gas or lodging, as we are also taking care of her ill Father for 10 years and get NO help from the family. She has lost a significant amount of weight, has been diagnosed with several other ailments, some incurable and inoperable. She loves pool and runs tournaments out of this passion and are asking the pool world or any friends for donations for her hospital stay and treatments. Our roommate has been recently diagnosed with progressive MS at 24 years old, and it's been an emotional roller coaster to say the least.
