T1 Diabetic - Health Insurance Termination

My household has been under pretty severe financial strain for the past 3 months (Husband lost job; Stepdaughter on maternity leave; Ex-Husband quit paying child support). As a result, I've fallen significantly behind on my health insurance premium payments.
I cannot lose this medical insurance coverage. This is the first and only health insurer that takes care of ALL of my prescription costs and copays based on my financial need. I'm an insulin-dependent Type 1 Diabetic (since kindergarten). My monthly insulin and insulin pump supply bill is approximately $5500. I'm mentally ill. My prescriptions for my mental illnesses are $1000-1500 per month. My monthly copays and other prescriptions add another $500. All in all, this medical insurance policy takes care of around $7500 per month. I just have to pay the premium.
The insurer is demanding over $1600 by July 31st to avoid termination of coverage.
I'm absolutely terrified of the possibility of losing this medical insurance and all of my medications. They're all absolutely necessary to keep me alive.
I've never asked for help outside of my family (huge financial strain on them; not currently able to help). I also haven't filed for disability. I'm a proud proud lady that always thought I could take care of my own medical needs. I just can't.
I never thought I'd need to beg for help, but this is crisis-mode.
