Be a Hero in Hester's Fight Against Cancer

I am writing to you today with a heavy heart. Recently, I was diagnosed with Stage 3C2 cervical cancer, and I urgently need your help to overcome this terrible disease.

As you may know, cancer treatment can be incredibly expensive. Unfortunately, my private health insurance will not cover the cost of the treatments I need, and the total expenses have amounted to a staggering $51,460. These treatments include radiation ($36,477.50), chemotherapy ($7,741.00), brachytherapy (excluded as the treatment was not successful), and hospital expenses ($7,241.55) which are essential for me to beat this disease.

As you can imagine, my family and I are under an incredible amount of stress. We recently moved to Australia to provide a better life for our children, but we are now struggling to make ends meet due to the overwhelming medical bills. My husband has been working hard to support us, but we are still struggling to cover all the expenses.

That's why I have set a goal of $51,000 to cover the cost of my treatments and other medical expenses. Any funds that are left over after all the treatment costs have been covered will be donated to the Cancer Council Western, which supports cancer patients and funds research to help find a cure for this disease.
