In Honor of Sylvia Williamson

Dear Friends and Community,

On March 12, 2024 we were devastated by the sudden and tragic loss of our beloved mother, Sylvia Williamson, in a car accident.

This unimaginable event has left our sister, Caprishea Williamson-Cubit, with spinal and brain injuries, as well as several fractured bones to her face. Caprishea is a single mother of four, and two of her children were also in the accident and sustained serious injuries.

Lyric, who is only 8 years old, has spinal injuries and will require inpatient rehabilitation to regain her ability to walk as best as possible. Legacy, who is 3 years old, suffered a broken leg and is in a cast.

In addition, our youngest sister, Tastaunee Cubit-Williamson, also involved in this tragic accident, suffered a dislocated hip. Her son Riche, a minor fracture to his tibia.

We are reaching out to our community for assistance in providing our mother the most fitting services to honor the beautiful life she lived and the impact her soulful spirit left on each and every person she encountered. Additionally, we need support to ensure that Caprishea, Tastaunee, and their children receive the necessary medical care and rehabilitation they need to heal and rebuild their lives.

The funds raised will go towards funeral expenses for our mother, medical bills, rehabilitation costs, and ongoing support for Caprishea, Tastaunee, and their children as they navigate this challenging journey.

We are immensely grateful for any contribution you can make, whether big or small. Your generosity will make a significant difference in helping us cope with this tragedy and provide the care and support our family desperately needs.
