Sylvia Martinez's Family Fund

Many of you know Sylvia Martinez, but for those who don’t, she has been with Texhoma working as a contractor in the Lease Department since January 2013. Sylvia has been a loyal and valued team member and she is now facing some very sad circumstances that I’d like to share with you.
On Saturday Feb 3rd, Sylvia’s mother was admitted to the hospital with heart problems, and during surgery, lapsed into an unresponsive state. The very next day, her father was admitted to the same hospital, also with heart problems.
On Wednesday, Sylvia’s father suffered a stroke. Her mother never regained consciousness after her surgery and on Thursday, she passed away. And then yesterday, Sylvia’s father passed away.
So, within a 4 day period, Sylvia has unexpectedly lost both of her parents. We have been keeping in touch with her as best we can and she is, as you would suspect, very distraught.
Sylvia, personally, and her family as a whole, are going to be facing some very substantial financial challenges, as arrangements are being made for two funerals, and she is missing a significant amount of time from work. This Go Fund Me account is established so that her friends can help defray some of the expenses that she and her family are facing. I know we can always count on all of you to be as generous as possible, as we have all demonstrated in the past when we have faced other tragic circumstances.
