Sydney’s Furnace Fund

Hello! I wish I wasn’t having to make this, but I am in need of some serious help. I just found out I need a new furnace which is going to cost me $3,200. If you are able to help I would greatly appreciate it.
Here is the what happened:
I live in a double wide mobile home in a quaint little trailer park in Hartford, MI. We ended up moving to Hartford from South Haven when they jacked up the rent prices in our old park to an unreasonable amount. See link for that story (https://www.mlive.com/news/kalamazoo/2017/09/exodus_at_trailer_park_after_l.html). We were grateful to be able to afford a move, but it completely drained our savings. After our move and we settled in, we started to work on building up our savings account when my car quit on us, resulting in us draining our savings again.
Last year, we saw our first glimpse of issues with the furnace. Our blower wasn’t working and we couldn’t afford a new one. Thankfully, a sweet gentleman graciously offered to soak our blower and work on it to see if he could get it working again at a much lower cost. Two weeks later, with no heat in the middle of winter, he was able to get it working, but warned us he didn’t know how long it would last.
This year, I decided to start up the furnace much sooner than I usually do. The pilot light struggled to start, which had never been a problem before. I shrugged it off once I got it to light and bumped up the thermostat to kick the furnace on all the way. When I walked back over to lock the door on the furnace, a huge plume of fire came flying at me, kicking open the door on the furnace. I quickly locked the cover and hoped it was just a delayed ignition and it would be fine.
I went and talked to my husband for about a half hour after this happened, ironically explaining what happened, when we heard what sounded like a gunshot in our home. The ground shook. I went running to the furnace, expecting to see my house on fire. I reached the furnace and found debris all over the floor and the warning stickers that were once on the furnace scattered across the floor. I quickly shut off the gas and started doing some research on the furnace. This is when I found my furnace was 30 years old..with a life expectancy of 15…
If you are able to help out in the slightest way, it would be greatly appreciated as my husband and I don’t have enough saved up to pay for this big purchase. Every little bit helps. Thank you.
