Sydney Fringe Festival - Labelled

I'm Jacci Pillar, comedian, anthropologist, author and proud aspie.  I'm doing a Sydney Fringe Show this year called "Labelled" (click on the link for more info!) - all about growing up different in the 70's and 80's.   I have been funding my performance work and productions myself and working in high stress jobs in Alice Springs dealing with issues of disadvantage and poverty.  I loved my work - but I have burnt out twice and had serious health implications.  I have committed now to finishing my fiction book and performance work and that my social justice heart will be fulfilled that way and be of benefit to the world as well.   I've just moved to Melbourne from Alice Springs and am struggling to get work and still recovering from recent bad health.  I’ve battled health concerns since an accident in my 20’s - it’s an ongoing challenge.

This money will help pay for equipment hire and accommodation for me and my sound tech in Sydney for my Sydney Fringe show before I bring it back to Melbourne - and then everywhere else!  We need to achieve this by the 9th of September.

It is a combination of story telling and comedy and audio visual and the end message is about neurodiversity and the future for our young people. I'm very proud of this show and it's non-traditional comedy platform.I would love you to become a supporter of Labelled - if you experienced bullying at school or have struggled with your sexuality or disability this show is for you.
