English Channel for Emily

Hi, my name is Jeff, and I will be swimming the English Channel to raise funds in support of my sister, Emily.
In December, she was diagnosed with CRPS (Complex Regional Pain Syndrome), known on the McGill Pain Scale, as the world’s most painful disease. This could be a lifelong illness and holds many possible grave outcomes and complications. There is no known cure for this disease, and the upkeep on experimental treatments and living expenses has become a huge financial burden. With the inability to work and other complications, my sister now must bear the full burden of living and treatment costs.
After months of struggling to find a way to help my sister in these struggles, I feel bringing awareness to her needs and how we all can help is what I have been led to do.
All pre-qualifiers have been met, and I am slated to swim the English Channel the second week of September 2016. Please join me in prayer as we show our support for Emily; and if you feel led, any financial support will be greatly appreciated. 100% of the donations will go to Emily’s needs.
We will keep all of you up to date on the status of her hopeful recovery and the swim.
