The 11th of November is remembrance day, a day relevant to all of us. This year we are choosing remembrance day to remember and raise awareness about Youth Mental Health and suicide.
In 2016, 2866 people in Australia took their own lives.
Raising awareness, educating, supporting and breaking down the stigma of Mental Health to help reduce the rates of youth suicide is our GOAL!
On the 11th of November starting at 6am, we will be commencing a continual relay to swim 2866 laps at the Gisborne Aquatic Centre (6 Aitken Street, Gisborne 3437). All ages are welcome to spectate or participate. To swim will involve an entry fee of $20 you will also receive a cap. All proceeds will go towards out nominated charity - ‘Live4Life’

This page has been set up to raise funds for those who may not be able to come down and swim a few laps, or cannot attend the day.
All funds raised will be donated to the Live4Life Organisation (www.live4life.org.au).
We ask if you could all please dig deep, and even if it’s only a couple of $$’s. We would like to use this event to raise as much awareness as possible to prevent any communities experiencing the pain the Macedon Ranges encountered, along with 2866 other families around Australia in 2016.
