Sweet Tabby

Hi! My name is Tabby. I am a 12 year old female calico. I was born in my pet parents restroom late Easter night. My brother and sisters were also born healthy and happy. I have been blessed to stay with my pet parents while my other siblings went to forever homes. My pet parents do not have any kids, so it's safe to say I get loved and spoiled a lot. I follow my mom every where she goes. She thinks it's because I have nothing else better to do but really, I just want to lay on her lap to take a nap. Life was great and I was enjoying my life with my mommies.

In March of this year is when my life changed for the worse. I developed a sneeze and had constant nose bleeds. My mommies took me to the doctor who prescribed me meds to fight an infection that they presumed is all it was. Believe me, I put up a fight when they would try to give me my meds. I hate meds. But I took them. They said I had too.

Months went by and I was not getting any better. My breathing was sounding worse and my nose bleeds were not stopping. Even though I was leaving blood spots all over the floor and the furniture and even keeping my mommies from having a good night's sleep, they still did everything they could to get me better. Except I wasn't getting better and my doctor's at banfield did everything they could to find out what was wrong with me and why I was not getting better with meds they were prescribing me.

Now it was summer and with me not getting better, I was referred to a feline specialist. Can you believe they said they wanted to go up my nose with a camera? I don't remember them ever having a camera going in my nose because I fell asleep for a bit. Weird because I wasn't even sleepy. After that the doctors said I have something called Rhinotracheitis and growth in my nose. But the doctor said he thinks that it could maybe be a tumor. Of course my parents were in denial that it was so they just kept giving me meds that I did not like taking. I put up a fight with the meds. I didn't like the taste. That did not taste like beef!

It is now Oct and all these meds my mommies are forcing me to take are not helping. I can barely breathe and these nose bleeds are getting worse. I love snacking throughout the day and even that is hard to do. So the feline specialist says they want to go in again with the camera in my nose, to get a better sample of what is blocking my air intake. My mommies are still paying for the last time the doctors went in my nose, so I can imagine how hard this is for them.

So I'm asking for donations to get a second biopsy to maybe figure out what's going on and pray that it is not a tumor. My mommies love me so much that they have been doing all they can to try and afford my doctor bills and meds. They need your help so that they can finally get some answers as to what is wrong with me. Please. Anything you can to help me and my mommies is very much appreciated.
