Caring for the Earth @ Ferncliff!

Folks we are selling sunshine!  This is your chance to purchase a solar panel for camp to help us further our commitment to care for the earth.  Your gift will help the camp reduce its environmental footprint, save money in the long run ($90,000!), but more importantly, all the campers that come here will see solar power being produced and used and hopefully that will reinforce the importance of seeking out sustainable forms of energy for our future. If we are able to raise these funds who knows how many kids we will be inspired to care for the creation?

No amount is too small and all gifts are appreciated, however if you are able to make a gift of $200 or more you or your family will be recognized on a display at the building.  And of course you can purchase a panel in honor for someone or as a gift.

Each panel will produce an estimated $2,916 in electricity over its lifespan.   That’s more than a 1400% return on your investment.  We’ve got 48 panels up for grabs.  We plan to put them on the Christian Activity Building and be able to power the whole building with energy from the sun.




You can purchase a 5 pack of panels for $1,000, a pair of panels for $400, and a single panel for $200.  If we can raise this last $9,600 we will complete the last phase of this fundraising project and the installation can be completed this winter!
