Medical Expenses From Car Accident

Allyn "Picky" Price was in a serious car accident on Wednesday, October 18, 2017.  While traveling a back road there was a pipe that had fallen off a truck in the middle of his lane, Picky swerved to go around  the pipe and hit the side of the concrete bridge.  His truck spun around, hit the bridge sideways and caught on fire.  Picky was conscious but trapped in his truck desperately trying to get out but his injuries were to severe below his chest.  Thankfully two men came up on the wreck who had a sledge hammer.  They were able to break the door and window to get him out.  Picky was medivac'd to Palmetto Richland's Trauma ER in Columbia, SC.  

Picky has been through extensive surgeries and will require more in the weeks ahead.  He has a crushed pelvis and both hips are broken in addition to multiple other bone fractures.  He will have to go to a rehab facility for an extended period of time and be in a wheelchair for at least three months before he can put any weight on his hips and pelvis to try and walk.  The surgeons remain hopeful he will walk again.

Picky is the primary source of income for his family operating a small business himself.  He has two wonderful sons and a terrific wife.  One son is a senior in high school and the other is at College in Clemson.  His wife Sandy is trying to keep both boys focused on school, keeping up with the daily family routines and being there for Picky through this.  As hard as it is for this family to ask for help they need it.  If you are able to help any amount will be greatly appreciated and if you are unable please keep Picky and his family in your prayers for a full recovery!  All money will go directly to Picky's medical expenses.
