Swagger's Surgical & Medical Costs

Kathy Swaim is a dear friend of mine.  In 2017 she lost her ability to work or drive due to advanced macular degeneration.  Her adventurous longhaired dachshund, Swagger, decided he would put a spin on the holiday break and of all things ate a rock.  Now Kathy is left with substantial vet bills for surgical removal of the rock.  Her dog was treated at Beaumont West Animal Care under the care of Dr. Falgout.  Vet bills need to be paid and due to Kathy's condition she is left with no way to do so.  All of us in the dog world know just how much these dogs mean to us.  It's time to come together and support a fellow dog lover in her time of need.

Update:  Swagger has experienced some complications but Kathy is hoping he will recover soon.  Expenses are mounting up:  $1200 original surgery, $300 Emergency vet visit, $932 for medical procedures due to complications.  Prognosis is good.
