Suzie Mambo Needs Your Help!
My Dear Guests and Friends. On Monday 16th March, for the safety of the community, I had to indefinitely close the doors to Suzie Mambo because of the Corona Virus. This has put into serious doubt the future of the bar.
I am looking for your support to help Suzie survive while I have no customers. I need a minimum of €5,000 per month to cover rent and basic costs. ALL money raised will help keep Suzie running in the background and be ready to re-open when it's safe to do so.
You normally would come down to drink, talk, and play in person. Now, if you can, I ask you to donate online the price of a few (or many!) drinks on a night out in Suzie.
For donations over:
- €50 you will receive a Suzie Mambo t-shirt
- €150 you will receive a Suzie Mambo t-shirt and a personalised bottle of wine
- €300 a cocktail and rum tasting evening at Suzie’s
I have loved to host you and meet you over the last 9 years. I created Suzie as a place for all to come and get away from the troubles of life, to share time, celebrate, and fall in love. I have so many wonderful memories of you all and hope that we have many more.
These are financially scary times for so many of us. I would be eternally grateful for any support you can give no matter how small.
If Suzie survives this, I hope we get to celebrate as if the world has just been reborn. Please may you and your loved ones stay safe.

Meine lieben Gäste und Freund*innen. Am Montag, den 16. März, habe ich auf aufgrund des Coronavirus und zu unser aller Schutz Suzie Mambo auf unbestimmte Zeit geschlossen. Damit ist die Zukunft der Bar nun ungewiss.
Solange die Türen geschlossen bleiben müssen, bitte ich euch um eure Hilfe, um Suzie am Leben zu halten. Dafür benötige ich ein Minimum von 5.000€ pro Monat, um die Miete und die laufenden Kosten zu decken. Das gesammelte Geld wird dazu beitragen, die Bar aufrechtzuerhalten und sie in altem Glanz für uns alle wiederzueröffnen, sobald das ohne gesundheitliche Bedenken wieder möglich ist.
Normalerweise würdet ihr persönlich auf ein Getränk vorbeikommen, zum Quatschen, oder um eine Runde Backgammon zu spielen. Jetzt bitte ich euch, falls ihr könnt, online den Preis einiger (oder mehrerer) Getränke für eine Nacht in Suzie zu spenden.

- 300€ einen Abend zur Cocktail und Rum Verkostung in Suzie
Es war mir eine grosse Freude, euch Alle in den letzten 9 Jahren kennenzulernen, euch in Suzie willkommen zu heissen und euch zu bewirten. Ich habe Suzie damals geschaffen als einen Ort für Alle, an dem man seine Alltagssorgen für einen Moment vergessen, Zeit miteinander verbringen, feiern oder sich verlieben kann. Ich habe so viele wunderbare Erinnerungen an euch Alle und hoffe, dass noch viele folgen werden.
Für viele von uns sind das finanziell beängstigende Zeiten. Für jede noch so kleine Spende, die ihr geben könnt, wäre ich euch ewig dankbar.
